Michael Carrick is into his first full season at Manchester United.

Michael Carrick took the interim job in January and steered Manchester United to third place and a Champions League return. Now the job is his outright, on a deal to 2028, and this is his first full season in charge. He has spent the summer rebuilding the midfield, bringing in Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa. United begin away at newly promoted Hull City.
