Pep Guardiola stepped down at the end of last season after ten years, and Enzo Maresca has taken over as head coach on a three-year contract, appointed on 29 June 2026. City finished runners-up to Arsenal last season but still won both domestic cups, and they start this campaign chasing a return to the title. Matchday at The Etihad Stadium
Everything for a home game: getting a ticket, the ground itself, getting there and parking, and where to eat and drink around it. For away days, the travel planner is further down.
Getting a ticket at the Etihad
Home games at the Etihad are in high demand and many sell out, so most seats go to Seasoncard holders and members before any general sale. Availability and prices vary from game to game and change through the season, and we do not sell tickets or list prices here. Always buy through the club or an official channel, and be wary of unofficial resale.
Match tickets
For any tickets that reach general sale, availability is limited and often sells quickly after members have had their window. The official tickets page is where to see what is on sale, join any waiting list and read the current terms.

City run an official Ticket Exchange that lets Seasoncard holders and members resell seats they cannot use, and lets others buy them safely. It is the resale route the club endorses, and you reach it through the official tickets pages rather than unofficial resellers.

The Etihad sits on the Etihad Campus in east Manchester, a short distance from the city centre, and is well served by public transport, which the club recommends on a matchday. Driving and parking are a different matter, as space around the ground is limited and tightly restricted on match days.
Nearest stations
The Metrolink tram is the easiest way in, with the Etihad Campus stop right by the ground on the line running out from the city centre and Piccadilly. Ashburys railway station is a walk away, and Manchester Piccadilly is roughly a 20 to 25 minute walk along the signed matchday route, which helps spread the crowds after the final whistle.

Matchday parking around the Etihad is limited and the streets nearby are restricted on event days, so parking close to the ground is not realistic for most visitors. If you must drive, book an official or pre-booked space in advance, but the tram and other public transport are by far the easier option.
