Buying home tickets

For most men's home league games you need a Matchday Membership to buy general-admission tickets; season ticket members and Matchday or Junior members get priority in a phased sale before any rare general sale, with a separate Cup Scheme for home cup matches.

Manchester City membership 2026/27

Manchester City's scheme is Official Cityzens Membership, whose paid tiers include Matchday Membership (buys home tickets) and Cityzens Membership, plus a Junior tier and a free Cityzens membership, and membership is what unlocks ticket priority windows before any general sale, so for the popular fixtures it is the realistic way in. Join before the sale window for the game you want, not after it opens.

Buying from overseas

Visiting from the US or elsewhere abroad? The rules are the same: tickets come only from Manchester City's official site and exchange, and membership priority applies wherever you live. Leave plenty of lead time for popular fixtures, avoid unofficial resale sites entirely, and if you cannot get a ticket, every game is televised somewhere worldwide.

How to buy Manchester City away tickets 2026/27

The away allocation at Etihad Stadium is typically ~3,000, housed in the South Stand. Away tickets are allocated on Ticket Points, a loyalty currency built up by attending matches over the years that never resets; tickets are sold in phases starting with the highest points totals and stepping down, so the most loyal fans are served first.

Returns and resale

Sold out? Manchester City's Ticket Exchange lets members buy and sell returned tickets for individual games. It is the only safe resale route; tickets bought from touts or unofficial sites can be cancelled at the turnstile. Open the official ticket exchange →

Hospitality

Matchday hospitality and premium seats are booked directly with the club. Our Manchester City hospitality guide covers the lounges, what a package includes and how to book, and the official page has current availability.

Digital tickets

Manchester City tickets are digital: you load them into a mobile wallet or the club app rather than collecting a paper ticket, so take a charged phone to the ground.
